WooCommerce Agency Istanbul

We set up your online store with WooCommerce on WordPress. We agree on the theme, products with variations, payment methods and shipping with you and plan in SEO and AI visibility from the beginning. Running WooCommerce stores we clean up technically so that Google and AI systems can pick up your range and prices correctly.

Build a new store or improve an existing one

This page is about online stores. For WordPress company websites without a store, see our WordPress agency page.

Setting up a new WooCommerce store

We install WooCommerce on WordPress, choose a suitable theme, create products with variations and attributes, and set up payment methods and shipping zones together with you. Filters, product data and language versions are planned before launch.

Improving an existing WooCommerce store

We review your store's plugins, theme, structured data, filter URLs and Google index and clear up whatever slows down crawling or makes product data contradictory.

Included in the setup

When we set up a new store, we also take care of the following.

Typical weak spots in WooCommerce stores

WooCommerce gives you a lot of freedom. That also means the technology behind it is in your hands.

Filters and sorting create a great many addresses

Sorting (?orderby=) and filters by attribute add parameters to the address, and every combination is a new URL with almost the same content. Google recommends keeping such filter URLs out of crawling with robots.txt; a canonical tag on its own is a weaker signal.

Variations and attribute archives

For variable products WooCommerce outputs a price range in the product data; a full product group markup with all variations, as Google describes it, is missing. Attribute archives are off by default; once switched on, every value gets its own page that mostly just shows a product list.

Load time from plugins, theme and hosting

WooCommerce itself recommends quality hosting over cheap shared servers and warns about heavy themes with built-in page builders. Themes that use the classic cart widget load an extra script on every page that WooCommerce otherwise only loads when needed.

Duplicate or incomplete product data

WooCommerce generates product data itself. If the theme or an SEO plugin such as Yoast or Rank Math adds its own product data as well, the source code can end up with two product objects carrying different details. Reviews only appear when they are enabled in WooCommerce.

Sold-out and deleted products

Temporarily sold-out products stay online, and WooCommerce reports their availability in the product data itself. Permanently removed products get a real 404 or 410 status or a redirect to a suitable replacement. Google treats empty pages that return status 200 as soft 404s.

Multilingual stores with WPML or Polylang

Both plugins add hreflang tags themselves; for the store, each needs its own WooCommerce extension. For the language versions to work, products, categories, attributes and store texts such as emails and shipping methods have to be translated.

Sparse product and category texts

Categories without an introduction and manufacturer texts that also appear in other stores give Google and AI systems little that is yours. We write category texts, complete product descriptions and answer frequent questions right on the page.

Selling internationally

With WPML or Polylang a WooCommerce store gets versions in Turkish, English and German, each at its own address. We set up the languages, translate product and store texts and check that the language versions are linked correctly.

WooCommerce questions

WooCommerce or Shopify?+

WooCommerce is an extension for WordPress. You decide about code, plugins and hosting, and in return hosting, updates and security are up to you or to us. Shopify is a hosted platform: Shopify takes care of the technology and updates. If your website already runs on WordPress, the store can be added there.

Do you also work on existing stores?+

Yes. We improve your running store; products, orders and customer accounts stay in WooCommerce.

Do I need Yoast or Rank Math?+

One SEO plugin is enough. If two run at the same time, they output titles, descriptions and structured data twice.

What do you do with filter pages?+

We keep filter and sorting URLs out of crawling with robots.txt, as Google recommends. Categories and products stay accessible; important combinations, such as a category by brand, we create as a page of their own where needed.

What happens to sold-out products?+

Temporarily sold-out products stay online and show their availability. If you like, a WooCommerce setting hides them from the catalog and from recommended products. Permanently removed products we redirect to a suitable product or give a real 404 status.

Is setting up Google Search Console and Analytics included in the price?+

Yes, both are part of setting up a new store. We create the accounts in your name and hand them over to you with full access. The data stays yours.
